If you know my sister Molly and want to keep up with her.  I have started a blog for her. We try to update it when we get letters. Pictures are few right now cause what we are doing is Molly has 2 memory cards for her camera when one is full she will send it to us to download and then we send it back to her once we empty it. Sister Molly Anderson

Well We dropped Molly off at the MTC on Wednesday October 7th! It was really bittersweet! We were there a total of 15minutes. (since they had to go and do away with the whole movie and such) :( That is with driving in, out and taking pictures. We all got out hugged and kissed her and watched her walk away with the elders that were escorting her and her luggage. The Elders were helping to direct traffic and take luggage But they wouldn't take a picture for us or even shake our hands. Wierdos. We Miss her!

When we were in Utah this last time taking Molly to the MTC I requested that we get one last Family PIcture before she goes. My BFF Stef and her husband Jeff helped us out since it was a last minute decision. Jeff took the Pictures while Stef entertained Haylee. WE LOVE THEM! Jeff and Stef and the Pictures!

Lately I feel this quote describes my life in entirety. And yet I can't seem to learn my lesson. Do you ever make plans and your looking forward to those plans and then in the middle they change on you or get pushed back or never happen at all? aghhh that drives me up the wall!! And yet it seems to happen to me alllllll the time! You'd think by now I would have learned to expect it or prepare for it or something but I dont and I continue to be annoyed.

WHat has happend is right in the middle of working for and planning for Pete to apply for the LAPD they decided to go on a hiring freeze. So now we are back to square one of looking for a job and trying to somehow get our family back together under the same roof! Until then it is back to traveling between here and Utah.

Summer Update!

I have great need to update this blog. Since moving we have had a lot going on. You all know about the LAPD which we are still working towards. I want everyone to know that we appreciate your support in that decision it has not been easy but we feel it is right for us and we help us accomplish our goals.

So we Celebrated Haylee's first birthday on June 26th with her party a couple days later so everyone was there. I made her a monkey cake which was fun and I loved learning how to do that. We celebrated the 24th of july with our new ward family which was fun. Haylee fell asleep thru the fireworks if you can believe that. crazy girl.
Young womens is great the girls are adorable and so fun to be around. we went and helped feed the homeless. Look at all the ponytails. My old science teacher in highschool used to tease "You know whats under a horse's tail don't ya!" what dork!
We went to Ut to celebrate my Grandparents 50th and that is when we dropped Pete off to work until he gets into the academy. We had a great visit with friends.
I recently spent all of August in Ut with Pete which was nice and we were able to help Molly prepare for her mission. Which was so nice. we went to the distribution center to get her fitted for garments and met the sweetest lady Cindy. SHe said when she got to help Molly " Oh I just got warm fuzzies" She was a doll. ALso on another trip to get her a few more pairs I saw my lovely friends from VA Kiley and Rob Smith. Love them. It was fun to see them in my hometown and to visit and catch up.
My cousin got married to an adorable girl. She was gorgeous. She is fun 40's style gal and her dress reflected that. They are both art students @ the U and met in class. She even drew their invitations which had profiles of their faces it was cute.
It was a great vacation and nice to spend some time with Pete.
Erin and I hosted a missionary shower for molly. My Aunt MeraLee hosted one for me when I left and it was nice I got a lot of things I needed as did molly we tried to make it very California!

L*A*P*D* ----

Well it's decided so I guess I can share it . . . . Pete has decided to join the LAPD! I know, I know shocking right!? My Gramdma Anderson said she would start praying for us. She said "Out of all the cities in the country". It's been well prayed about on our end and truthfully I cried when Pete told me he wanted to go for it "I don't want to be alone!" can you hear me now?! Anyway if you know Pete you know he has wanted to join the Military (in a small way) for some time now but first I got in the way, then it just didn't feel right so when this came to us it just felt right. It has the military feel without the commitment. It will help put us in a better position to get those lovely school loans paid down quickly. And Pete will get that ACTION he's looking for. I really had to beg Heavenly Father for peace about this, it came! So . . .big deep sigh and no more looking back. He is currently in the application process we will let you know when he gets accepted into the academy. We are actually very excited it just FITS! Ya know?!

We arent sure how long it will take for him to get in so for now I'm alone in Cali while he is in Utah working for A&Z again. Hopefully this is the last time he has to go back but we certainly appreciate them just letting him come and go these past few years it has saved us!

PERFECT! I was stoked. When the Bishop called us in to meet us and get to know us He asked " Now we all know you can't pick your calling but if you could where would you like to serve?" I said YOUNG WOMENS or Relief Society and Pete crazy man said the Library! hahaha So you can imagine when they extended the call how thrilled I was! I am finally going to be able to get my Young Women's Medallion. Anyway We've had one mutual activity and so far so good. It can only get better!
